Stanley Lake Road

from $30.00

In October 2022 I took a trip to Boise and immediately fell in love with Idaho. The city has a really appealing not to big, but not too small city vibe and there is so much beautiful landscape within a few hours drive. My last full day before flying home I spent driving a 10 hour circle through the Sawtooth mountains and the Lake Stanley area was at the top of my list of places to stop. As I got closer and closer it started to become clear that there was going to be some snow rolling in very soon. I made it to Stanley Lake and had the whole place to myself for about half an hour before I had to leave to beat the snow in my compact rental car. Absolutely loved this area and it’s high on my list of places to return to.
