Washington Park Beach Sunset
The thing I remember most about this calm, cool sunset on the shore of Lake Michigan is speeding across Michigan City from my hotel to Washington Park Beach because I forgot that entering the Central timezone meant the sun would set about an hour earlier than I was used to. Thankfully I made it just in time to catch the last few minutes of daylight before the sun set behind the horizon.
